Guests’ and Hosts’ personal information may be made available to non-profit charitable organisations and relief agencies in the future, if they are able to offer superior services. In the event of this occurrence, we will provide advance warning to all registered users, and an option to remove personal information prior to transfer of your data.

3. The people that are given access to this information

Your personal information is accessible by the site administrators of Bushfire Housing for maintaining data integrity and assuring the quality of information on the site.

HOSTS

Available properties will appear in search results for all visitors to the site. This information will include the property postcode and any comments you have written. It will NOT reveal the property address or any personal information. Your name, email address and phone number are protected at all times.

If a guest registers interest in your property, you will receive a notification with a contact email address and phone number. You may act upon this notification to directly contact the person who has registered an interest in your property. Bushfire Housing will never directly supply your contact information to guests.

GUESTS

When you register your interest in a specific property, the owner of that property will receive a notification via email and/or SMS. This notification will include your name, email address and contact phone number so that they can contact you directly.

4. The security measures we have in place to protect your personal information

To safeguard your personal information, all data is stored securely in a password-protected database.

Our website makes use of cookies which are small digital files that are stored in your web browser that enable us to track your return visits to our website.
